Hi Mark,
This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.
If you purchased a download subscription for a Norton product, click on the link below to download the latest installer for the product your purchased.
You will need to have a separate license for each machine you want to install it on.http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/c…
After you download and run the installer, you will be asked to login or create a new "MY Norton Account" which keeps track of your Activation Keys.
If you have further questions regarding your subscriptions, please contact Norton Customer Service at the link below.http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/c…
Thanks,
Mike

You can get a full suite of protection from here:http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/downl…
You have to look for their anti-malware program or you can get malwarebytes antimalware.
As a minimum, you need a firewall and an antivirus program.

assuming you're using windows operating system, make sure the firewall is turned on. if your computer is new, it's likely you're using vista or windows 7. if it's vista, use the safety functions located in the toolbar for in private browsing. don't open any emails you don't recognize. there are numerous anti-virus programs available. they all have their pros and cons. pick one you're happy with. downloads.com offers some free ones or you can purchase one as well. you can get some good deals on ebay, etc.

I changed to Avast a few months ago, I have also got superantispyware and Malwarebytes. I recently changed to Comodo firewall which seems fine and I seem to boot up quicker. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps

The blocking of ads and cookies is sort of overkill, IMO. Security is more about what you DO on the net rather than what software you have installed. For instance, its not security smart to go hunting for program key generators. Its not security smart to look for 'hacking' programs. Its not security wise to look for 'cracked' versions of programs. Its not security smart to go looking for porn on the net.
Make sense?
